I feel in love with Dash Shaw’s comics around 3 or 4 years ago. The first one I read was Love Eats Brain which completely floored me, knocked me in the chest and made me feel that I was in the hands of someone who put his heart into it. When I mentioned my fondness for Love Eats Brains to him he told me his newer ones were better. I’m thinking he probably doesn’t have the perspective cause I still hold Love Eats Brains as one of my top favorite comics. Its’ simply intuitive & sincere, which I love. This video is a trailer for BodyWorld which you can find up online on his site. You should also pick up The Mother’s Mouth which I soaked up in an afternoon. Here’s an entry I did on him back in August.

I became youtube friends with these girls I don’t remember when. But this was the video that made me add them and there’s an array of other mindbending ones you can watch thru their profile.
I’m a snoop. Let’s make this clear. Or an internet sleuth. Choose which, or a variation of both. Either way last week in an array of firefox tabs I found my way to this night. The one above. Okay…this one: Killing Spree. I was curious. Friends of friends…of internet friends. And human fleshly friends. I trust and imagine the content to be very good. But since I don’t know them personally I can only hope the vibes are inviting and no LA bullshit (please). So I’ll probably go and enjoy the sounds…cause this is pretty much up my alley times ten. Oh and they added me today on myspace so we’re totally bffs now. Right? Here’s the venue’s yelp details: MEDUSA.
Almighty Opp is a puppet troupe…they are performing in my neighborhood on Friday. Franken’s is a vegan hot dog stand that handed me free chips while some Hollywood hairhooker called me a FAT i.e. he will always live on in my heart. Two days ago I literally said to my honey “I need to find a puppet show to go see,” and he said something like “What kind?” and I said “AN AWESOME ONE AND I WILL FIND IT.” I can’t vouch that I said it exactly like that but anyway this appeared and the button feels threaded and sewn.

Dave the Chimp’s video One Line. He made an animation of the graffiti he does which is all done with one line…instead of tagging his name he does draw rings.
I found out about Dave the Chimp’s artwork when I found out he made the videos for Robots In Disguise. If you know me I like robots, puppets & doin’ it..and all of those things happen in that video.
I went to see Crom but the party got shut down by the SWAT team.
