1. Bronski Beat – C’mon! C’mon!

Sometimes I pull these 12″ singles because I’m hoping that dub mix or instrumental will give me something to work with. I honestly can’t remember if the B Side does anything for me but I love this era of album art.
2. Afrika Bambaataa & Soul Sonic Force-Renegades Of Funk

1984 in full flavor with futuristic sounds. Renegade Funk with the Renegades Chant on the Bside (Hell yea) Be sure to listen to the breakdown at 3:08 on the video it’s simply delish.
3. Bassix – Pump Up The Mo Town

A frightening mega mix called PUMP UP THE MO TOWN a medley of Uptight, Going to a Go Go, Sugar Pie Honey Bunch, Same Old Song, Tears of a Clown & Grapevine (I heard It Through). No, not the original songs but they’re redone. Wow…just…wow.
4. Splack Pack – Scrub Da Ground

This is an essential, but just a drop in the water, of my Miami Bass collection. Sure, I’m bragging. With music like this, who wouldn’t brag? Here’s the video but for some reason the sound is complete & utter shite. More visuals, less talk. It’s my basic brain chemistry…so watch.
5. J.J. Fad - Be Good 2 Me

Aw JJ Fad getting all grown stepping into the 90′s away from thos 80′s beats and putting out this single exec produced by Eric EAZY E Wright and produced by Yella & the Arabian Prince. This single also has a song called Back to Compton on it. I don’t know if these ladies are from there or not…I mean honestly, I have no idea.
